I got a call from California Opinion surveys tonight, only 2 questions, who am i voting for and
and how will i vote on a certain bond measure for the state of California.

1st i told i was voting for Obama but the second part was the real "Who, omg, nooooo!"

There will be a bond measure in california about Renewal energy, i forget the name of the thing but she reads me all the stuff and i ask her who is the sponsor, she looks through her pile and finally says---" T. Boone Pickens". Now she was cool, she went on to mention his swiftboating of Kerry and his staunch support for Bush but just hearing the name and my reaction to it i felt bad for her.

So my fellow Californians, when you get your voters guide be on the look out for that measure.

3. well that name brought the word scam to mind immediately. She said she didn't know who
he was, she had a written description of him "Republican Texas Oilman T. Boone Pickens" but she didn't know any more than that, i told her to go home and look it up google, she said she would because a few people had similar reaction to mine upon hearing his name.

7. Logically that should work, but now the Powers that Be
Set it up so that with some initiatives, a "no" vote" means "yes"

5. When the likes of Boone Pickens start to invest in alternatives the Saudis get nervous
that America will actually find a way out from under oil, but it will take big money http://mendocoastcurrent.wordpress.com/2008/05/21/t-boone-pickens-2-billion-bet-on-wind-energy I'd like to see Buffett get involved too, and others. All this fossil money gushing to the top 1%, they need to start laying some back out and into renewables

This article is keyed on commercial properties, but they do have a residential program http://www.smud.org/community-environment/solar/compv.html :) and yeah...

T. Boone Pickens!?

8. Ooo you, do *not* get me going about Howard The Tax Duck that would *not* be pretty...
on any level. I do feel for the people working this political season collecting opinions and survey data. All these things/stuff is/are looking for voters too. And people are fed up with this oil/wall street speculation bullshit big time!! What to do, what to do. But like I say...where's Buffett? No he dumped a pant load into the Chinese oil industry to 'assist' in getting it up and running now take a look. They're off in Darfur cutting deals with rebels perpetrating genocide.

Maybe Pickens is looking for a death bed conversion?
