In an LBN thread a few days ago, I extended my condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Tim Russert. My personal opinion of him can be reserved for a later time. For everything there is a season...

This thread is not intended in any way to diminish my sincere message of goodwill or honorable intentions that accompanied that LBN post. Neither am I going to judge others who do want to vent their displeasure with his person, his career, et al, nor will I judge those who judge those who do.

But I reserve the right the poke a little fun at the concept of "The coverage is endless, and so too are the threads commenting on the endlessness of the coverage, and the endless counter-threads where by gawd, I will get my 2 cents in too, and endlessly kick and recommend any and all endless threads on the endless coverage."

So I figured I would up the ante to 3 cents, just to get the forum back on topic. ;-)
