WTF!? Andrea Mitchell sarcastic and demeaning to Bonior
on MSNBC just now...

snide and unfriendly...sneering and condescending

just 'cause she lost her work-husband last week, doesn't mean that she gets to be shitty.

1. Weird.
I think I have noticed other on air hosts on MSNBC being rude to Bonoir. And he is a great spokesman and true liberal. Hey, maybe that's why they don't like him. What was the topic?

4. He doesn't know how to let people finish
I notice that a lot of other people do that to. I think it has something about her stuttering and pausing. I think they lose patience with her.

7. I agree.
Can you imagine having to work right next to where your long time friend just died?! My heart really goes out to her. It must be awful. Just awful.

10. The definition of being a professional
Edited on Tue Jun-17-08 12:30 PM by PCIntern
is doing a good job even when you don't want to be there or don't like the person/assignment or are so tired you can't keep your head up.

I do it all day every day for 32 years and my patients don't want those excuses...nor would you. sorry...if one is that overwhelmed, take a day off. she can do whatever she wants...believe me.

I'm sure she's picking up some slack due to his passing. Maybe they cant afford to be without her right now.

Edited on Tue Jun-17-08 12:39 PM by PCIntern
all right with you?

empathy? On what basis...and don't lecture me on empathy...I feel for all those who are truly suffering due to the policies of this group which includes Andrea and her husband...NBC was first and foremost in calling for Bush to take the election in 2000. So I'm not too empathetic...

22. Most of us have lots of empathy..that's why we're Dems
but that doesn't mean it's okay when corporate news treats one of our own with less than respect..I don't care how tired and grieved they are.

14. She told her co-workers at the NBC News Washington Bureau
that Russert's untimely death is a warning for all of us to take care of ourselves, to get enough sleep and to have good eating habits. I feel badly for Andrea, she has had a difficult time, my heart goes out to her.

16. No Shit
Have people forgotten that all the players in this media stage production are ELITES. I mean the top 1% of the top 100%. They are all RICH MOTHERFUCKING ELITES.

They can do whatever they want including shit on us on a regular basis. I am appalled at the number of people acting like these are our buddies. WTF? There is one in particular on this thread that I have lost ALL respect for.

25. Well, said, Binka.
I'm sure Andrea must be in pain right now. But she must have grievance days written into her gold-plated contract. She can take the time off if she truly wants to. That's what any true professional would do.

28. Thanks.
Love yours, too, and your sig. I'm usually not much for kawaii stuff, but Hello Kitty is an exception!

As for her spouse, I definitely think there's a conflict of interest there. It would be so nice if salaries, signficant others, family ties were disclosed on the bottom of the screen. How many of the network elite got their jobs because of connections, or have whored themselves out since then to make such connections? Cokie Roberts comes to mind... blech.

If not, she's taking it out on our side (you know, the team that GE roots against) and that's not cool.

11. I feel badly for her and everything about losing a friend and co-worker
And didn't see the Bonior incident posted above, but I see her act shitty towards Democrats on a regular basis. I turned on MSNBC for a second, and after a story about how the Al Gore endorsement would hurt Obama in Michigan due to Gore's policies on fuel emissions, she was talking about the new Washington Post/ABC poll and being apocalyptic as usual about the numbers. "What. Is. Obama's. Problem?! Is it problems with female voters? Clinton supporters? His known problems with blue collar voters?" Hmmm, Andrea, if these people being polled say that they vote Democratic for Congress and for all of the issues, but not with Obama, isn't it their problem as well since they are voting against their interests? I know that this is all the usual stuff, but Andrea spins the numbers negatively like no other.

of Dmes who are legitimate for some around here. the MSM/RW doesn't give a crap whether they were loyal Dems or not...they are taking no prisoners this cycle. Ignore this at your own risk.

19. I noticed that her eyes look strange - like they are somewhat swollen or
something. I was wondering if anybody else had noticed, especially her right eye. I don't know if it could be due to crying of if she has allergies, or even some surgery or even an eye condition....

24. Mitchell won't let go of her primary disappointment
If she was here, she'd be tombstoned by now. She was clearly bagging on Benoir over primary season baggage. And, she looks like she's got a bad hangover. Probably stayed up late drinking hard, didn't get enough sleep, and now is in a foul mood.
