I had one of 'those' conversations with an Obama supporter today

I was at work when I ran into one of those Obama supporters. We've known each other for a while and I took him to an Obama rally some weeks back. The conversation went like this:

Coworker: I can't wait to vote in November for Obama.
Me: Yeah, I can't wait either.
Coworker: Seriously, we're going to win.
Me: I know.

It was horrible. It was like he was under in some sort of hope induced coma. I didn't have the heart to tell him I haven't gotten my pony yet. His head might implode.

3. I can't tell you how many people I talk to who...

say with certainty "Barack is going to be our next President." A woman I was having lunch with yesterday just said it as a fact.

They always seem so ... inspired. It's kind of strange, but I'm getting use to it.
