I tried to reassure the man that blacks wouldn't take over the country if Obama is elected President; after all Obama has white relatives too.

The man told me he works hard, I think at manual labor, and there is a lot of competition for any jobs that pay a decent wage. My guess is that his fear is for his economic survival. The Repubs have brainwashed so many blue-collar white males into thinking that Repubs will protect them from competition from other groups. Of course, Repubs won't do so because it's in the interest of the super rich to keep wages as low as possible.

I was listening to her on the way to the doctor yesterday and she was mentioning the press club and brought up the whole tabloid story and than before she got into the rebuttul she went into a 10-12 minute rant about Paulu Jones hair and some other bullshit and the person with me turned and asked if it was true about Obama and I had to explain so I wish she would have explained that one yesterday.
