You know, the one marked "Reserved". Sort of indicative of their prejudice, I think. Bet a lot of supporters left outside would have loved to fill those seats.

While we were waiting in line, we were told that if they ran out of room, people could go next door to Cobo Hall and watch in on large screen televisions and that Obama would stop by afterwards. A lot of people went there but as 8:30 approached, there were still seats available in Joe Louis Arena so there was a mad dash over there from Cobo. I'd say The Joe was about 90% full which means close to 20,000 people.
My wife took the photo and the empty section behind the media section was for assistants and media widows like me (I'm the white guy in the yellow shirt ;)
