Comedy relief: Uneducated Rush calls Obama an "idiot" who "never wrote anything."
RUSH: "This guy Obama is dangerous, because he's an idiot. I mean, really. They talk about how brilliant this guy is, that he went to Harvard and so forth. I did some checking. This guy never wrote anything at Harvard Law. He just had a law review. He never wrote anything -- probably on purpose, not to create a paper trail. Number two, he might not have been capable of it, for all I know. . ."

Let's see: Barack was editor in chief of the Harvard Law Review. About which Rush has no comprehension.

Rush, meanwhile, dropped out of college after, what - three weeks?

I refuse to link to his site, but you can find it there.

Same kind of head case, whining jealousy as he went through about Bill Clinton, one of the "popular guys" in school, unlike Rush. This guy is a psychiatrist's dream.

Keep making fun of Comedian Rush Limbaugh, Keith. It's the one thing blowhards like him and O'Reilly simply can't tolerate.

1. Two books aren't enough?
That's one thing I like about Obama, the fact that he's a writer and actually wrote his own books, as well as some of his biggest speeches.

17. FCC Reform
Are you referring to the fairness doctrine? I think we need to be careful when we get into the arena of trying to silence our enemies. That sort of thing may come around and bite us on the butt. We just need to get some more entertaining, fun, left leaning radio hosts- in the vein of Allan Colmes, to battle them on a fair playing feild. We dominated them for years in the T.V. feild. We can do it in other ares too.

19. It's not about the Fairness Doctrine
It's about the lying. The man lies every day and is never forced to suffer the consequences for it.

4. What really galls racist asshat fucks like Rush
is that there's this *black* guy who's smarter and better-educated than they are, and they can't stand it. So they have to try to tear him down. Losers.

7. Hannity has a similar sterling educational background.
And they are 1 and 2 in popularity among the right wing. No coincidence.

I have to say that the nuttiest thing I find about Rush is when he presents himself as a scientist and expert on global warming.

His listeners get their science from Rush and their theology from Ann Coulter. Wow.

12. They're dangerous and it's a
wonder nothing catastrophic has happened because of them..on second thought the War On Iraq happened because of them and the m$$fm.

Thankfully people in America are mostly intelligent and we're going to take advantage of this Perfect Storm the bushites and their radio commandoes have created and elect ourselves a real leader.

9. Rush, being an ignorant douche, doesn't know this other thing:
The policy of the Harvard Law Review, like many others, is that student articles are unsigned. http://www.harvardlawreview.org/about.shtml

Obama certainly would have written articles for the Review; he wouldn't have been chosen as the President, or even a member, if he hadn't. I was a Law Review editor (at a rather less prestigious school than Harvard, but the policies were similar), and you had to write stuff for publication just to be a member of the organization -- and most student articles were published without by-lines (though unlike at Harvard, some of our long articles did get a by-line -- I wrote a tedious, obscure thing with over 400 footnotes, which I'm sure nobody ever read).

The point, though, is that Obama would have had to have written articles, and for him to have been even considered for the President position, they would have had to be very, very good. But Rush is a dipwad who couldn't have gotten admitted to Bob's Law School and Bait Shop, let alone Harvard Law, and he has no clue how smart a person has to be, and how fine a writer, to get to be the President of their law Review.

10. Why are we giving this fool any publicity?
Any press is good press, I'm sure he's thinking.

He's got millions listening to him....and as far as I'm concerned, that's more than enough.

Fuck him!

16. He should know better.
When you consider that damn near all of Rush Limbaugh's family are lawyers (father, grandfather, uncles, brother, cousins) he should DAMN well know better than to say that.

That does make me think about another possibility, though - Doesn't Oxycontin cause long-term memory loss?

20. I can't remember. But, you are right - fascinating that he disses lawyers.
Short term for me, but I forgot that he is from a family of lawyers.

He is scum. Can't get more creative than that, but thanks for the reminder. His resentments are deep and profound. He is one troubled pervert.

May he enjoy the same fate as Richard Cory.

the two piles of books I saw at the bookstore the other day with Obama listed as the author -- those were figments of my imagination? And the copies I have at home, too? :eyes:
