Couple of evening events happening that I know of so far...

Evening of the 26th, myspace is doing an event with bands playing

Evening of the 29th, rock the vote is doing an event in conjunction with the local alt rock station KTCL - live music


Side note, the DNC is doing a big compilation CD that I assume all of you convention goers are getting.

7. I am going to the Republican convention...

But don't worry I will be outside, not inside. When the Republicans invade my home town I have to be out there to give them the welcome they deserve.

10. place to stay

I have a free hotel room (using credit card points) so if anyone needs a place to crash while out in Denver let me know. The hotel (Hampton Inn) is on the bus line and according to the bus lines website, it is about a 40 minute ride to the convention center though I am hoping to hitch rides with others staying there.
