Public Policy Polling: "Obama has a large lead in Ohio"
Raleigh, N.C. – Barack Obama kicks off the general election with a 50-39 lead over John
McCain in Ohio, according to the newest survey from Public Policy Polling.

It’s a significant change from PPP’s most recent previous Ohio survey, conducted in
March, which found Obama trailing McCain 49-41...

1. Some of these recent polls are complete bullshit.
Yes, Obama has great appeal.

Yes, McCain is the worst Repub candidate in the last 40 years.

A lot of these numbers do not make any sense, though. I'd caution against gaining any sense of security from them.

This is going to be a fight.

5. I agree.
I don't find this poll at all credible. If anything I would believe McCain is ahead in Ohio.

6. Why?
I'm living here, and I don't feel any strong groundswell for the guy. Of course, I'm in blue Cuyahoga, so that could be part of it. But if I go over into Lake County and start seeing Obama signs, I will know the worm has turned.

4. I love to see that
Those numbers :woohoo:

But we have to remain disillusioned. Obama can chant Hope but the Democrats in this country have to keep in the back of our minds that the NeoCons are good (bad). We have to continue to believe that they will steal it again - so we don't get off our game.
