McCain ain't winning PA...
I don't give a crap about the 'polls', the 5 county area around Philly is solidly Dem and will vote heavily for Obama...I live in the Main Line and there are hundreds of Obama signs outside people's homes - which is almost unbelievable, since most people here try to maintain a certain anonymity. I have spoken with very few who are planning to vote for McCain and of those, there is absolutely no political enthusiasm for him in this state. Listen...I remember when the Rethugs put up Lynn Swann the African-American football player, and I had to listen to all the bullshit about how all the Reagan Dems were gonna vote for Swann because they loved their Steeler football and he was Black and a great candidate and all this other garbage and he had absolutely no viable ability to win an election here. NONE! Pennsylvanians, at least around the cities, are far from stupid when it comes to their own self-interest, and they know that McCain isn't going to do them any favors or keep them any safer. The minority communities are poised to show up in record numbers; 18 year olds are registering in the cities, and people here want CHANGE and McSame ain't their man.

It's not even going to be close here...so stop listening to assholes like that crypto-fascist Brad Blakeman who is a real whore and about as bad as it gets...(STOP SHAKING YOUR HEAD FROM SIDE TO SIDE WHEN A DEM SPEAKS, BRAD...YOU LOOK LIKE A FUCKING BOBBLE-HEAD DOLL)...and get out there, turn your fellow voters on to the Dems message, and stop listening to Rethug lies about our candidate and his wife. I personally dare anyone to attack his wife in front of me...I call into question immediately the 'manhood' of any Rethug who tries that trick. Picking on women to 'get at' the man is the lowest of the low and give no quarter in that regard.

GO FIGHT WIN!!!!!!!!!!!111

1. Hell, you might as well give a crap about the polls, since nearly all of them have McCain losing PA.
Some by fairly wide margins. I believe today's Quinnipiac has McCain down by double digits.

2. what they're gonna do here and what they ALWAYS do
is show the Dem up by a wide margin and then:

THE RETHUG NARROWS THE GAP!!!!!

BIG STORY ON ACTION NEWS...

Then, cooler heads prevail...and although it seems close, it isn't. In PA it is: Make your own Headlines!!! at the tV stations and the now Rethug Inquirer here in Philly.

we heard this stuff on Election night in 2000 here, how Bush was going to beat Gore, and while the Rethug was on the air, PA was called for Gore. It was just unbelievable...Tom Ridge saying: "We know something you don't". Well, he was right about FL, but not here. And not this time.

4. there is no reason for a Pennsylvanian to vote for McCain unless
they're big Bush and/or Iraq War and/or Ignoramus-beyond-belief folk. we are hard-hit economically and we're going to vote for CHANGE the way we did in, unfortunately for the nation as a whole, 1980. The Commonwealth does not take this economic stuff lightly and McCain offers no hope at all whatsoever.

5. Even my Central PA Repub mom is voting for Obama.
It'll be the first time she's voted Dem since Carter in 1980.

Believe me, if SHE'S voting for Obama, there's a lot of other
PA residents lining up in front of her!

folks, you heard it here first...PA's going to lead the nation in surprises by the margin of victory. Weird, since there's always that segment who won't vote for an African-American but it will be overwhelmed by people who've just given up on the Rethugs and the Tome Delay archetype.

BTW, that picture of Russert with Delay which MSNBC kept showing is not flattering at all...posing with a felon?
