How do I keep up with this? I though support of impeachment was the litmus test
to determine if one is allowed to be a real Democrat. Now, apparently, the vote on the FISA bill determines not only if one is allowed to be a real Democrat, but if they can be an American, or possibly even a human being.
Is there a website I can consult to help me to at least determine the criteria for what makes a real Democrat or to know which ones are posers or maybe pod people? Or is this always a moving target based upon the mood of the moment or the cause du jour that gets people excommunicated from the party? Sometimes it doesn't seem so much a party as a cat herding convention.

1. Well, impeachment would make one a lonely Democrat indeed
There are precious few behind impeachment.

But this FISA bill is another matter altogether. It is a choice between corporate influence and the Bill of Rights and a clear line has been drawn.

But I do not judge on one issue....just the preponderance of them.

2. Yeah...
And the thing is, I don't really believe that these multi billion dollar corporations with hired full time lawyers didn't know they were BREAKING THE LAW. They knew what they were doing........

4. They did...
And the gang of 8 did, and Bush did.

All with staff, all with a long history with the law.

3. In your profile, in the "comment" section, you state that you are
disappointed in DU...

Why on Earth have you hung around so long?

5. Masochistic tendencies. I also enjoy reading the LIberals
who have no room for anybody who disagrees with how they think and how they nearly pop a blood vessel when somebody dares to offer a contrary opinion or action, one that does not line up with their mindset. God help us if they had absolute control. It would be like the One Ring of Power--first they would use it for good, but then the power would consume them and under that velvet glove would be a steel claw for those who would dare to dissent with the dissenters.
