I honestly do believe that he would offer all that is required and meets all the criteria for the optimum VP pick. Lets "hope" Obama picks him.

Obama's wide open map means he doesn't absolutely need any given state and as many have noted, VPs often don't bring in the states they're from anyway.
Clark's defense credentials might go a long way toward convincing people Obama would exit Iraq safely. He's also been a better surrogate than many politicians, which is pretty impressive.
I'd bet he's pretty close to the top of the short list, and he's probably my favorite.
