Obama could raise up to $100 million in June...

I think that's pretty optimistic, especially since he still hasn't opened up to raising money for the GE yet -- not that I've heard, anyway. Please correct me if I'm wrong about that.

Still, I thought I'd post this because of the stupid "McCain 'Ties' Obama in May" articles.

"Obama's decision to forgo public funds permits him to use leftover primary money in the general election. McCain cannot."

2. Interesting... Reason enough to bail out right there...

Between his current war chest and the paltry $23+ million from May, he's what, about $20 million away from the entire amount he'd get from public funding. And something nobody bothers to mention, before he's elected he'll have saved taxpayers $85 million and McCain will have drained us by $85 million.

They really should call this what it is: Obama is using public funding. McCain is using government spending.

He should build on that and use their debates -- town hall meetings, or whatever -- to do more good. They should each pick a local charity, and have people donate to that charity to attend the debate. Then they should plug the charity and its website at the beginning and end of the debate.

Do something positive with all the arguing, and keep pressing the message of changing the way we do things.

3. Only if I hear a FILIBUSTER from him on the FISA bill.
Until then, my wallet's clamped shut.

4. I Admit, I Gave For The First Time In June
I did not want to give to a Democrat to beat up another Democrat, but once Hillary conceded, I started to contribute. I am probably different from the other folks on this board who may be fairly tapped out. I probably will give more, perhaps to the DNC in the months ahead.
