Predict when Senators Obama and Mccain will choose their vice presidential candidates

I see three options. How about you all?:
1. First week of August for both before the olympics.
2. Obama first week of August before the olympics/Mccain the day after the DNC wraps up to try to blunt Senator Obama's thunder.
3. Sometime in July for both.

The thing is that the olympics freeze the race so I think it's highly unlikely the choice comes during the olympics, which are from August 8th-Aug 24. The two nominees don't want to compete for attention with a nation focused on the olympics. This is very common. In fact, it's the reason why the conventions are so late this year, which is rather unprecedented.

I would hope that Senator Obama doesn't choose his VP in June. Build up the suspense.
