Did you all see the footage that Keith O. kept playing of the guys ignoring Bush? |
|
Edited on Sat Jun-21-08 03:39 PM by my3boyz
I thought it was hilarious! I hope more of them ignore him. He is pathetic. I hope the Repubicans lose the majority of the military vote.

2. I thought they were just a couple of guys watching from a distance, |
|
but whoever they were it was really funny. Bush kept waving at them, more and more intensely, and the guys just stood there.

3. Can you fill out your comment for those away from television? |
|
The hotel where I'm staying doesn't have MSNBC, so I missed KO.
Thanks.

I think they're referring to this. As one DUer said, it's about 7 min into the clip (but the whole clip is good!). :hi: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=385&topic_id=149883&mesg_id=149883

5. It was a clip of Bush getting out of his helicopter |
|
(actually it's OUR helicopter), and he sees these two men standing at a little distance behind a fence. So he waves at them. The men don't move. He waves again. They still don't move, although it's clear that they are watching him. So he waves AGAIN, really frantically, and the guys still just stand there. It's hilarious.

8. Would have been perfect if the workers would have fingered Bush. |
|
I watched it over and over hoping just once the fingers would extend.

14. I would have flipped him off. I could not have helped it. |
|
Whatever the ramifications, the pleasure of having George W. Bush see me flip him off would have been worth it.

15. That's what I was expecting to see |
|
with the way that Olbermann was hyping up the video. Their refusal to wave was pretty good too.

19. I should've done that to poppy Bush when he |
|
came to my area. It was just after he took office and I was so relieved that Raygun was gone that when he looked out the limo window and waved ... I waved back ... CRAP ... SHAME ON ME! :spank: :-(

21. oh well, given what Raygun was like, thats understandable |
|
If I were one of the two (two!) guys who showed up at W.'s grand entrance, I would have flipped him the bird with both hands.
Maybe the two guys were just a couple of lost drunks, and meandered over to see what was going on?
