121. We tried to get the marriage started by buying a Hybrid today.

No luck. We are looking into the Ford Escape Hybrid, but they were sold out in Glendale.

The 2009's come out next month, so we might check back.

Michael's car has almost 90K on it and he has the longer drive to work. Plus his car is SO expensive when it comes to service. My Honda is a year older with less mileage on it. Plus my services are not that bad. I love my car. But maybe in a few more years I'll also get a Hybrid. I want a Prius. And right now in LA you have get on a waiting list to get one

Ugh, the traffic is why I left Long Beach and went back east. But in retrospect, moving back east was a Good Thing™ since that's when I met that handsome, hunky love of my life. Twelve years this past February and still we chase each other around. A lot slower, these days, but whoever was chase-ee never did run too fast :D

We just got a Nissan Versa last August and I really love it. We had two Z's before and I had some reservations about getting a sedan. Fortunately, they were unfounded. It's comfortable, runs like a striped ape and gets 36/gal. In the wedding business, I put a LOT of miles on a car, but it's a joyous craft (I love my "third job"!) If a hybrid were in our budget, we'd definitely have one, but I'm just as tickled with my "poor man's Z". My pickup gets 22, so it goes between the house and the farm-supplies store any more. Ya can't get a 1200-pound bale of hay in a sedan. And it's totally paid-for. There ya go.

Get on the list for a Prius if you can. The sooner y'all jump in, the sooner you'll have it. There's no way you can survive in LA County without transportation.
