I just got lit and I'm all in.

fuck it. I'm all in. i just gave $500 to obama, i have 700 dollars in my account.

next week when i get paid I'm donating another 500.

and two weeks after that until i max out 2,300,

then i'm gonna volunteer. until they tell me to go away.

and when that happens, ill be sad. but god damn i want this.

i'm 21, in college and living on check to check. I'm all in.

in 11-02-00 i was 13. in 9-11 14, '03... 16 and so on. all i know is bush. please help me get this. you need this, i need this. we need hope.

10. Thank you! Its Time For Us To Take Back Our Government...

...I've started up my giving as well once the primaries have ended. I also started giving to the DNC, as well. However, what really inspires me are folks like yourself, who understand what is at stake, and how this election affects each of us on a very personal level. If you guys can do it, then damn it, so will I. It gives me hope that I am not alone in my concerns about where our country is headed, and that there are other folks who are stepping up, putting aside the MSM-induced apathy and cynism, and believing, not just Obama or the Democrats, but in the ability of people like us to make a difference.

11. I just love this idea of everyone giving a little.

One guy giving a million is difficult to find and may possibly be illegal. But a million people giving a dollar, talk about using money in a democracy, why that, to me, is the only way to fight the corporations' financial influence.

Obama just had his lowest month yet, but it was low enough for McCain to equal and AOL news was touting that as a victory for McCain. So I had to give to Obama. I'm sure next month's total will not equal what McCain was able to get from his CEO and corporate donors.
