Why can't freeps spell????.....

"I am a soldier in the us army, I have been deployed and I enjoy fighting. I would infact prefer to be deployed and fighting than training to do what we do.

The iraqis had a choice. We dropped leaflets and brawdcast where to go so they would be safe (refugee camps) when the war started. The people who stayed were the enemy or chose to stay anyway putting themself in harms way. The same go's for the insergents and civilians who came back later. I dont want to hear shit about collateral damage or civilian casualtys.

For the dumbass who said something about AR15.com members, a large percentage of us are military, law enforcement, or former military.

I have done more for this country than any of you pieces of shit, you have no right to say anything you have here. In case you forgot its the veterans who give you the right to freedom of speach....

go ahead, keep talking shit here because you dont have the balls to say it to anyones face.

MCkane 08 **************"

We even have a few active duty, if I'm not mistaken.

21. If he's in Iraq, he probably won't be doing either anytime soon.
Apparently the current Repuke caging scams are disenfranchising the troops as much as they are the usual targets of Repuke discrimination. And for obvious reasons...... who's going to vote for a 100 year war in Iraq, if they're among those stuck in it?

10. So many giveaways
He enjoys fighting? Many soldiers see their work as noble, but this guy enjoys getting shot at, having rockets fired at him, and having IED's explode only yards away from him? Yeah, right! This guy is either lying or takes the definition of adrenaline junkie to a whole new level.

The spelling errors are another thing. We all know the average soldier isn't, well, uneducated. Maybe this guy got a waiver or something, I don't know.

Safe in a refugee camp? I doubt it, those places are dangerous too.

It's clear this guy also knows nothing of what is going on Iraq, because if he is a soldier in the US Army, maybe he could enlighten us as to what he does and what his position is in the Army, right?

My guess:
He belongs to the 101'st Keyboard Kommandos Freeper Division.

14. My Mother and My Father
Edited on Sun Jun-22-08 07:03 PM by Jake3463
Would disagree with him.

My Mother served a year in Vietnam putting guys like you back together and saw more death and worse than you have ever seen in your service. She's for Obama.

My Father, god rest his soul, While very right leaning thought Bush was an absolute idiot in Iraq and was needlessly sacrificing young men. He supported the war till he realized there was no weapons. He also thought the commander in chief was rather foolish to not disarm the entire country and secure the borders if he planned an occupation. He believed when he died the only option was making the country 3 different countries and getting the hell out of there the sooner the better. Hell what did he know though he was only a decorated officer.

26. It's hard to see at that resolution, but...
...there are little blue dots in Nebraska representing the at-large districts. The Washington Post widget that I used to create that map (based on Poblano's) doesn't allow you to color states purple, so that was the only way I could do it.

17. By espousing political views while on duty
this so called soldier is in clear violation of United States Law. He should be prosecuted for inserting politicization into military duties.. He is not a true patriot. A true patriot is not afraid to criticize his government when it fucks up. A true patriot does not willingly slaughter hundreds of thousands of foreigners from a once sovereign land.

18. didn't read the thread, but would like to correct the poor gentleman on one point:
it WASN'T veterans who won us our right to speak.

it was inSURGENTS, terrorists, who fought the duly elected King of England, right? they were revolutionaries, common criminals, enemy combatants, if you will

you might call them veterans after the fact, if you like, but, seeing as how the powers that were back then (as we are now, in Iraq), certainly didn't consider them to be soldiers

For sure not Mensa International material. The Naval Academy is prestigious but remember McCain graduated in the bottom one percent of his class numbering 600+ ... definitely not Mensan or even admiral material. Presidential?
