comparing him to "the guy at the country club" that HE doesn't like?

Um, Karl - it's pretty funny that you are trying to paint Obama as "elitist" by likening him to someone at a country club since I'm sure that most of the people you're trying to convince that Obama thinks he's better than they are don't hang around country clubs. Even funnier - Obama doesn't hang around country clubs either.

So you attempt to distance Obama from the people he needs to vote for him by reminding them that he's just as much of an outsider as they are - unlike you and your buddies who, not only have sufficient time and resources to frequent country clubs, but who are also obnoxious and petty enough to have divided up your fellow country club denizens into "types" to make it easier for you to sneer at anyone who's not like you - or who didn't make the cut for your clique within a clique within a clique.

Nice work, Karl. Keep at it - with enemies like you, Obama might actually be able opt back in to the public campaign finance system.

1. I'm waiting to hear them characterize McLame as a friendlier version of GW.
Someone you can sit down and have a glass of prune juice with.

You know it's just a set up to cast McLame as a regular guy. The base really seems to like the regular guy bullshit.

4. Yep. If it catches on, a certain faction of the population will be convinced
that country clubs have been infiltrated by arrogant elitist Muslim terrorists. Then things might really get interesting.

6. it infuriates me because it's so untrue, so ridiculous on so many levels, but if that's the best
they can dream up, they're in deep shit.
