Nice and different video of Obama

I got this link from an email, liked it, and sent it along to my email "News Crew" with the following note. Even if you don't have the time to directly campaign for our candidate, stuff like this helps, I think, for those that don't take the time to research the issues, etc., but depend on word of mouth/opinion of others.

I've heard Obama speak on many occasions, both on the teevee and now once in person. We all know he is a gifted speaker, but this video shows a side that we don’t get to see. He is speaking to a small group of volunteers, and it is obviously not a prepared speech. It’s nice to see the more personal side.

The video is hosted on a donation page, but that’s not my point of sending it to you. By all means, donate if you feel so inclined, but that is up to you. One point on the campaign funding stuff you’ve probably heard…the criticism of Obama opting out of public financing. When I hear someone mention it, my response is, “What purer form of public financing can you think of, besides accepting donations only from individuals?”

Enjoy the video, and remember…no matter what your opinion of Obama (or his wife if that’s got your negatives going), McCain is not the answer. He is complicit in this mess we find ourselves in, and will continue along the same path that the lying weasel and his band of self-serving cohorts have set us on. Nothing will improve, not the economy, our status in the world, the environment, the mess in Iraq, the inattention to the situation in Afghanistan, or the restoration of your rights as guaranteed by our Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Nothing.
