I have seen only one McCain sticker where I live |

All the rest I've seen are Obama ones and I live in what has been a fairly Republican area, Thousand Oaks, CA. In 2004, there were tons of signs and stickers for Bush and other GOP candidates all over the place and now there is almost nothing. It's very encouraging.

1. I did seasonal work for a ctalog company, |

quite a few of the orders would come with religious pamphlets. My favorite was an envelope that was colored like the American flag with "McCain 08, God willing our next president". I don't know why people find it necessary to mail crap like that with their orders, but it is common.

2. Seems encouraging. Let's hope the R's don't come home to their party in November. |

3. I didn't know his stickers were out yet |

Haven't seen a one.
Are they pur-dee?
I did see an old car absolutely plastered with both Obama and Clinton stickers last night. Either a disagreeing couple or just a totally anti-Repub statement.

7. Someone gave me one as a joke. |

I still haven't found an appropriately-horrible place to put it.

Which I admit I thought was odd. I have seen Obama ones. Which I also have thought was odd considering where I live.
Perhaps the Democrats as a whole are more proud of their candidate this time?

4. So far here in NW Arkansas, |

one of the most conservative parts of the nation, I've seen exactly 0 (that's ZERO) McCain signs. No bumper stickers, either. Still several LARGE Ron Paul signs around town. I also saw one Obama bumper sticker. This is really amazing. The area is so red that the Dems aren't even mounting a candidate against our repuke conman. And yet NOTHING McCain is around.
