We are a country of LAWS not MEN.... |
|
Thats why I don't want to hear that crap from Obama that he will maintain make sure that these Fisa rulings aren't misused while he's in office. I have been an Obama supporter for a while now, because I believed that he was going to bring a new type of leadership, the kind that isn't ummm scared about being labled weak on terrorism by standing up for THE FUCKING 4th AMENDMENT. But no I realize that I'm that glossy-eyed liberal, who thinks things will actually change. I'm sorry I'm not a jaded asshole. Pelosi, Reid... Obama????????? Of course they are 'better' than McCain...BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN????????? How many democrats does it take to defend my rights??? to stop war funding?? to IMPEACH a president commiting war crimes... I'M sorry if you think I am young and naive... Atleast I'm not some 'pragmatist' who bends everytime the 'scary' repukes say we are we on defense or terror, or elite... overcoming politics of fear my ass.. well whatever.. GO OBAMA right? right? for some reason... I'm not so enthused anymore.

4. Why Is It Always Nonsense |
|
When one doesn't agree with what's being said, instead of just being a different opinion?

sure, there are some moves Obama can make right now...mostly to make 'supporters' like you feel good...
what can actually be accomplished won't be ABLE to happen until we get Barack in the White House...
he has not shirked any pledge/responsibility/leadership etc. as THE CANDIDATE...
your concern is as weak as your 'support'....
why do you deserve to be disappointed?

i have yet to find your alleged 'defense of the Constitution'.
youf criticism of Obama is fine and totally within your rights, etc...
otherwise, you have stated little beyond the obvious 'concern'....

5. That's An Assumption On Your Part |

What if he doesn't do anything about the "immunity"? What if he prefers things the way they are when he gets into office?
When is it a good time to defend the US Constitution?

8. What a quaint but completely incorrect concept. |
|
It is Republicans who claim we are a nation of laws -- but only when they want to use the power of the law to persecute their political enemies. Wimpy Democrats never even use the 'term' "we are a nation of laws, not men," because if they did, they'd have to explain why they allow Republicans to break any damn law they wnt to with absolute impunity.
It will take real political courage to change that, and Democrats (Reid, Pelosi, et al.) ain't got it.
