She's mentioned it three or four times in the last hour ~ maybe she could just write a big check!

Edited on Tue Jun-24-08 12:47 PM by ErinBerin84
They will do anything to try and screw it up.

She was also harping on "What do you think took Bill Clinton so long?" to Rendell.

I think you are exactly right.
And once again, they find a willing group within the Democratic party to advance their cause.

8. She's Just Doing Her Part To Keep The Party Divided...
That, or "Scoop" Mitchell got a call from one of her "sources" who really thinks Obama should be more worried about Hillary's debt than his campaign. After all, she ran up all that debt trying to help him get elected, right?

9. I know, she's asked every guest
She's trying to make an issue of it and thereby create some sort of rift in the party. Rendell said that it was against campaign finance laws for others to retire her debt for her. Yet, Andrea persists.

Her technique reminds me of the part in "Outfoxed" where they talked about the memos of that day's talking points. Either someone told Andrea that Clinton's debts were the issue of the day or she thought it up all on her own.

20. Exactly like a talking point...
I was wondering too if this was her own thing ~ she seems really overinvested in this issue. Maybe Hillary owes HER money!

15. Because they got nothin.
Unfortunately, this is what we have to look forward to, a whole lot more of the "I would suggest to the blah blah blah campaign that they 'insert great campaign idea here'" punditry. It's really getting old. I'm recording everything these days, it saves me a lot of time :)

I mean come on, you're giving your eyeballs to advertisers who clearly have no respect for you.
If they did, the programming they sponsored would be, you know, relevant!

24. One possibility
I remember in 2004, that candidate's loans to the committee became outright gifts if not paid off before the convention. In the Clintons' case, they are speaking of paying off the rest of the debt, but to my knowledge money can be raised at any time to pay that. (John Glenn paid some people 2 years later)

28. Regarding corporate sponsorship
and the ratings a "close race" would bring, I'd be tickled pink to see some deodorant and toothpaste commercials. I'm so sick of the Hughes network "all you need is a clear view of the Southern skies," the Viagara yahoos sittin' around jammin' and ALL the other "when the moment is right" couples sittin' outdoors in bathtubs, I COULD WRETCH!:banghead:
