Q. What do Obama and Jerry Lewis have in common?

As far as Obama goes, they also love him in Switzerland and Germany. That's the report from my duaghter (just back from a summer semester) and husband (working over there). As soon as the Obama button is spotted, you get a big smile and a thumb's up!

community. Not just in Europe, but around the world. It'll be nice to be able to stop apologizing for my government when I travel.

back in the day of freedom fries and general france bashing, my son in law kept trying to get me pissed off at the french. When nothing else worked, he mentioned "And don't forget the French love Jerry Lewis".

That did it, I hated those f*#king French.

6. Actually the Swiss and Germans love Lewis even more than France

he is much more popular in Europe as a whole than the USA--because of the auteur theory of filmmaking. They really like filmmakers in Europe and respect it and analyze it more than in the USA.
