Just analyzing, but this is really not going to help him. He's trying to be a friendly, nicey guy, and Obama's already got that cornered. He won't be able to out-nice Obama, or out-Obama Obama. His only chance is to be a leader and play up the only thing he has over Obama--experience. He has to make people not care that they like Obama better. A statesman. All this footsie stuff with his supporters isn't going to even threaten us.

So I hope he keeps it up. I just can't believe that the Republicans have gone from the strategists they were in 2004 to the jokes they are now.
