I turned it off when Woofie asked him what question he would have asked Obama had he been a reporter at the press conference. I heard "killing a baby" just as I hit the "off" button.

I was recently on a little road trip and had the chance to watch CNN a couple of times for as long as I could stomach it.
I gotta say- that channel is an utterly worthless waste of time- at best misinforming, but basically unwatchable.
How on earth do they get ad revenues?

At least they're halfway watchable for some partisan portion of the population. CNN was just pathetic.

22. Bennett was so scared he was yelling and carrying on and spewing lies all over the place. |
|
His body language and carrying on showed he was devastated by Obama's careful, cautious and VERY Presidential responses in the tough questions Chicago Press through at him. In fact, Bennett's first line was that the "Press was "easy on Obama, Wolf..and they've been accused of that before." His comment was so outrageous that even Blitzer countered him on that statement.
Running Scared...!

15. Donna Brazille didn't defend Obama when Bennett kept yelling "Obama kills babies" |
|
Edited on Wed Jun-25-08 05:41 PM by KoKo01
though. I thought Brazille was so weak that I wonder who she really works for. Bennett must have mentioned four times...in loud voice..."Obama wants babies at 8 months term killed ...thrown in garbage" and Brazille never counter acted that OUTRAGEOUS CLAIM.
I've always thought she was a Repug Mole...and after watching her tonight ...I'm convinced she hangs out with Carville and Matalin in their Georgetown "Red Palace" on the Potomac.
It was disgraceful how Bennett was a allowed to carry on ...shouting...and that Brazille was her "ever so sweet" peacemaker who never challenged his outbursts of lies and disinformation.

21. She's never learned out to "effectively counter" the outrageous Repug Lies...no matter that |
|
we now have one of the best candidates running since Clinton. She is ever so "nicey nice"...but then I remember back during Katrina when CNN did everything to rescue her relatives and Wolf did a special interview with her on that where she was applauding them for finding part of her family.
I guess Brazille owes CNN and they are extracting every bit they can from her. DNC also kept her out there as a spokesperson after Dean took over...so I guess Donna has alot of "creds" with the Mainstream Media and even Howard knew not to try to replace her.
I remember her involved with Gore Campaign...as a chief operative. I still think she's a mole. Tonight was the last straw with her credibility for this viewer. :-(

17. Corporate media always asks republicans to "analyze" democrats |
|
of course they also ask republicans to analyze republicans too..:grr:
Occasionally a Brazile, Shrum, Carville, Ford, or Begala slips in too..but very rarely are any people WE would pay attention to, even asked to participate..
And when some accidentally slip under the radar, they are given precious little time, imterrupted by the 3 republicans they are "opposing" (and the host too)... and they are often chosen for their humor..not their ideas..
This is the result of 30+ years of republican rule over media (yes I am including Clinton's 8 years too)...
The liberals were deliberately scoured from media...and are only sparingly re-introduced..and when that's done, they are routinely excoriated for their LIBRUL..LEFTIE ideas.. :grr:
We have been deprived of so many vibrant voices over the decades...many have died and will never be heard from again, and many have moved into academe, or writing.
All the years we could have been hearing regularly from people like Phil Donahue, Mike Royko, Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky...and instead we got stuck with lightweight sycophants ....:(

18. CNN is desperate to make the GE a horse race |
|
when all indications are Obama is going to win handily.
They'll do anything to prop up McCain in order to make it a close one. That's the only way they get ratings.
So they manufacture controversy around Obama and ignore McCain's scandals.

23. The MSM Will Make This A Close Race - Obama Is The Underdog |
|
Fox, NBC, ABC, CNN and CBS no longer do any journalism or analysis. They just offer spin. Sadly, most Americans rely on the MSM for their "news." The DU board is a poor barometer, because we are generally internet savy. Howeverm most folks rely on TV to tell them what to think. The Nazis discovered that if you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it. Well, we have four months to listen to these lies. Heck, even the left leaning folks are starting to rip on Obama on issues like FISA even though he IS NOT YET THE PRESIDENT.
Obama is the underdog, because his fundraising prowness compares to the operating budgets of the MSM.
