3. Chris Matthews did it but it was totally on purpose. When he "corrected" it, the woman pundit |
|
said "I know what you mean.." They are work hard at planting this in 'murcan's minds.

But unfortunately, I do catch myself about to make the mistake. Thank goodness for my parents teaching me to pause and think before I speak!

the state of Alabama. We should move Gitmo there, with a name like that, it will improve detainee morale. After we impose martial law and a curfew. :sarcasm:
Let's see. Ba, Ba - back of the throat
Ssa, Sss, Sa-ah, Zee-ah - through the teeth.
These slips of the tongue by wingnut douchebags are more often than not, intentional.

15. I have a pretty serious speech impediment. |
|
It's under control so I can speak without it showing up most of the time, but it does mean that I 'look' at what I'm about to say many words in advance to be certain that none of the upcoming words or phrases are ones that cause me trouble.
As a result, it was easy for me to add 'Osama' and 'Obama' to my sub-conscious list of possible problems and avoid the possibility entirely.
See, every cloud, etc., etc. :-)

And I confuse words all the time. The other day I asked for a "cup of candy" - which considering some of the items on the Starbuck$ menu is not all that inaccurate.
Like others, when I want to refer to the Saudi terrorist, I say "Bin Laden". Difficult to confuse that.

however, it was in a conversation involving them both....something about Obama pulling troops from Iraq to get Osama like we should have done in the first place. Never have I pulled "Osama" out of my ass, when talking about Obama.

what gets me is when producers put up the wrong graphics, that seems fucking ridiculous. At that point they should KNOW what is happening and not just a slip of the tongue.
