Longtime DUers who frequented the Lounge will remember our improbable, lovable Oscar. DU's own A-Schwarzenegger has compiled his exploits into a novel that will be published in November!

Those of us who participated or read in the rough draft may want to send our regards to A-S!

3. Just a note about my own Oscar memory; he came around at a very difficult time for me.

Two VERY traumatic events occurred within a month of each otherin my life, my mom's death and my own stroke. I stopped posting but continued to lurk and I was able to watch Oscar's story unfold; it really helped me get through a very tough time.
