What Am I Missing Here? With * Being At The Lowest Approval Numbers Ever.......
and this country in a shambles because of *Co's policies and mistakes - how in the world is McCain tied with Obama at 45% on the Gallup poll?

For all intents and purposes this general election should be a landslide/watershed win for Obama and the Dems - yet the MSM is making it look like its going to be close. Am I missing something here?

Thank the republican media for it. And of course the stupid people swallowing what that republican media tells them. Must be nice to lie to the public without their being any accountability.

2. There's big money in keeping the race "tight"
They did it with the primary season, and now they'll do it with the general election.

14. Correction: Almost elected Bush twice.
2000 was given to Bush in a coup by the Supreme Count.
2004 was the result of election fraud in Florida and Ohio.
We have a lot of stupid people in this country, but not quite enough to elect Bush in a legitimate election.

16. Some did not vote for Gore because he was a *snob* some not for *kerry* because he was elite
some did not vote for Clinton because she was a woman, some wont vote for McCain because of his age,,, My point is the *some* is very much in the minority

6. The "two theories" story. One, it's the evil polls that are controlled by some alien force, or two
it's the fact that we have the Ricky Ricardo moment coming of "Wha happen?"

10. I think McCain's constant efforts to separate himself from Bush is helping right now,
Edited on Thu Jun-26-08 09:51 AM by predfan
but as the campaign goes on he'll get tripped up. There's too much paper and video trail of his pro-Bush statements (economy doing great, etc) that can't be denied. Wait'll the debates, BHO will make him look 90 and senile.

BTW, has our Commander in Chief EVER looked stupider than the line in the Phillipines about the White House cook being such a talented guy. Another reason why McCain's numbers are better.......ANYBODY looks bright next to this idiot.
