The 4th Amendment isn't a privacy issue, it's a slavery issue |
|
And this is not to diminish the people in this country and around the world who were held physically captive as slaves.
But if our government can monitor everything we say, then many if not all of our other rights are moot.
What good is the 1st amendment without the 4th?
This isn't just about privacy, it's about our status as free, adult people---which was flushed down the toilet in the dead of night, as the Obama campaign yawned and figured out another way to distance themselves from the "netroots".

I don't hear Sen. Clinton speaking up on this either. Is she still a Senator, or what?
