cnn.com — Ralph Nader's presidential candidacy has received little media attention, but his latest critique of Sen. Barack Obama has come under fire for its seemingly racial overtones. Speaking with Colorado's Rocky Mountain News, Nader accused Obama of attempting to "talk white" and appealing to "white guilt" in his quest to win the White House.

Ralph Nader is the most arrogant and narcissistic guy I've ever met. I had a meeting with him in the early Nineties. I was jazzed going into the meeting, and I was disgusted leaving. I don't think I've ever met a bigger asshole. If he hadn't run in the last election, we wouldn't be in Iraq and thousands of people wouldn't have died needlessly.

7. I was harrassed on the street today by a Naderite.

A couple of guys were collecting signatures on the street corner. One of them, a preppy looking young guy, asked me if I'd like to sign the petition to get "an independent" on the ballot. I was in a hurry and didn't even consider it one way or another (despite the fact that I think Nader is at least partly to blame for GWB). I simply said, "No thanks," and hurried on. It was my lunch break and I needed to get back to work. The preppy guy took a step after me as I walked away and called out, sarcastically, "Gee, thanks for supporting democracy." I stopped, turned, and mouthed, "asshole" at him. He said something else snarky to me but I couldn't hear what it was.

I think I should have a right to walk down the street without being heckled or made to feel uncomfortable by these "democracy supporters." What a jerk!

said about Obama and I couldn't believe it! I didn't like nader before this and now I just want to see him held accountable for his a$$holiness.
