doesn't the water go under the bridge anymore?
or is it now a stagnant pool?
i signed in today and all i see is posts about Hillary's debt
i see the same people arguing on both sides
frankly i could not give a shit about hillary and her debt
she ran it up knowing she was out of it
i feel no more obligation to her debt than i do to a spendthrift crackhead
she wont see a dime from me
she has "18 million" voters to pay her debt ......right?
i can see here by the constant rantings of the tightrope walking leftovers from the primary that they still love her so much
well then dip deep for her
don't ask me for it i don't have it

and on the other side i see posts invented to inflame those who supported her
i am against this also
the primary is over
the GE is on
stop wasting your time on hillary and bill
they are not newsworthy or noteworthy
leave the guppies alone please?we have bigger fish to fry

anyone who at this time is using their support for hillary or the negativity associated with the clintons to make a point is disingenuous at best and an outright provocateur at worst

i almost wish we had a no hillary rule here now that the primaries are over

its not like she has any relevancy anymore is it?

1. extended mourning period
It was a very bitter primary. Allow more slack.

Meanwhile has anyone noticed that the economy is tanking, Iraq remains a bloody mess. Afghanistan is falling apart, the climate appears to be rather unsettled, peak oil appears to have arrived ....

5. my point exactly
so much bad is going on that to allow one second of thought to the now irrelevant clintons is counter productive

7. And this appears to be one of those posts invented to inflame those who
supported her. Give it a rest. Barack and Michelle both wrote a check to help Hillary retire her campaign debt.

Senator Barack Obama said on Thursday that he had written a personal check of $2,300 to Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, a good-will gesture intended to nudge his top donors to help ease Mrs. Clinton’s campaign debt and help the two Democrats move beyond their rivalry to focus on the fall contest.
<snip>
“I wrote my check to the Hillary for President Committee,” said Mr. Obama, who was greeted with booming applause. His wife, Michelle, also contributed $2,300.

8. Apparently water doesn't go under the bridge anymore
Edited on Fri Jun-27-08 08:40 AM by DesertedRose
Maybe it's due to effects of global warming....or something more sinister....like not being able to let go of the past and move forward.

BOTH sides need to give it a rest.

9. she has "18 million" voters to pay her debt ......right?
That's the crux of it - if each person who voted for her over Obama were to send in just a single dollar - less than the cost of a cup of coffee - her debt would be instantly retired.

Why is it incumbent on us to pay her off?
