Mental images from the upcoming convention...

Things I think would be cool in Denver (and if I was part of the planning committee):

- Sheryl Crow performing a concert in prime time on Wednesday

- Monday through Wednesday with military servicemen coming to the stage to praise Obama's stance on the war.

- Colin Powell and Chuck Hagel given speaking slots.

- Congressmen Wexler giving an awesome keynote address.

- Hillary giving an incredible Tuesday night speech....concluding with her giving all of her delegates to Obama to make the roll call unanimous.

- Our VP choice rousing the crowd on Wednesday night with reason after reason why America needs Barack Obama right now.

- On Thursday, on its 45th anniversary, I see the MLK "I have a dream" speech being played in its entirety. Followed by Barack walking out on stage to give the speech of his life. The roof will be blown off the arena. The symbolism of Barack Obama realizing MLK's dream exactly 45 years to the day after the speech was given... wow... what a powerful image.




Just a few mental images that have me really looking forward to Denver.
