CNN interviews a "pro Clinton blogger"....
Edited on Fri Jun-27-08 01:54 PM by thewiseguy
They were interviewing Asma Gull Hassan who was purpotedly a blogger supporting Hillary. They asked her if she felt the love after today's event and she said no. Then she went on to say well my biggest issue was to have a female elected president in my lifetime. (She looks pretty young)

Afterwards she went ahead and said well if I were to vote today I would vote for McCain! Asma then confirmed that she is a registered Republican.

That was just disgraceful.

Further search on Asma Gull Hassan brought me to to this:

24-year-old Asma Hassan calls herself "a Muslim feminist cowgirl".

A muslim cowby feminist Republican!

1. I just watched it.
Hilarious. At least she was honest, which is more than can be said for CNN.

3. Maybe she was on of the many GOP cross-over voters who came out for Hillary
in attempt to help McCain.

5. She is just conflicted
She is a self proclaimed Muslim and a feminist who is also registered as a republican. Mind you she is only 24!

6. Or maybe
She's telling the truth and she's a republican who would have voted dem to get a woman as president.

I don't think it's too far of a stretch. Hopefully as she gets older she'll realize just how bad republicans are for women and become a democrat.

8. True
But it also shows that she's not all that bright to think that voting for McBush is going to make things better.

She's 24, how old does she have to be to realize how bad Republicans are for women? Besides there are many women older then her that still haven't figured that one out, and who still continue to vote Republican.

But maybe one day she'll have a epiphany, and maybe it won't be too late!

10. I did not doubt her but
When she said that well I wanted a woman to be elected president in my lifetime, I laughed. She is too young. Give me a break.

Plus the whole muslim feminist cowgirl thing is just too much.

12. Or maybe she was willing to overlook party loyalty for a qualified female candidate

I've seen so many of my gender try before ... this time, we had someone with enough stature to overcome the natural obstacles. Sorry you don't appreciate the opportunity we lost.
