What if Sen. Clinton becomes stronger and wiser as Obama's VP, and then
is elected the first woman president in 2016?

This situation is certainly not what everyone expected at this time last year.

I assumed it would be Clinton and Obama together, but with Clinton in first place and Obama as the VP.

It's amazing how life throws us curve balls.

Perhaps if we give her another chance, she will emerge from this experience stronger, wiser, and go on to become the best president we've ever had in 2016? I'm feeling generous today. Why not?

2. If the Goddess of Peace is as strong & wise then as she is now, that's good enough
If she's any stronger and wiser then, then she is right now, then she'll probably be elected the first President of the World in future years.

Having said that, it's Obama's time now.

5. Strong. Yes. Wise. Sure. Goddess of Peace....
Edited on Fri Jun-27-08 07:42 PM by JTFrog
I can't think of another woman leader less deserving of that title.

IWR
KYL-LIEBERMAN
NO On Banning Cluster Bombs
Obliterate Iran

That fantastical title is incredibly insulting to those who are actually seeking peace throughout the world.

17. Instead of embarrassing yourself
why not tell us what the post said to which I replied. Then we'll understand how your reply makes any sense whatsoever.

So what was I replying to?

4. She doesn't need to be VP to be viable in 2016.
By then maybe people will have forgotten the 2008 primary.

6. I'm feeling pragmatic today. She doesn't need to be VP to run in 2016.

The problems that she presents to the ticket won't disappear with a 'second chance'. Her statements are a matter of record, as is her IWR vote. Add the Clintons' vetting issues to that.

9. That Joint Appearance Today
Made it actually look like a dream ticket rather than just a consolation prize for the runner up. I had written her off s VP, but it's not unthinkable.

15. I Don't Think HIllary Needs The VP Slot As A Crutch
I don't really see what Hillary gets out of being VP. I posted in another thread, "Name The 5 Greatest VPs in History," and most people list VPs based on what they accomplished as Presidents. With Hillary, she does not need the crutch of being VP to be a front runner at the end of Obama's term. My take is that the only "deal" that makes sense for her is nominating her to the Supreme Court. Hillary has written legal articles. Anyone who has went to law school has to be greatly tempted at such a prospect. Heck, William Taft dreamed about being a Supreme Court justice, and he was once President.
