1. Damn! That looks just like the big V I have tattooed on my upper right arm.

Except mine has blood dripping from it with the word FREEDOM above it and FOREVER below it.

6. No, I've never had a picture of it. It is the exact V logo from the movie, though,

with the circle around it. I downloaded a picture of it from online and the tattoo parlor used their computer to make a stencil of it. I picked out the font for the words "FREEDOM" and "FOREVER". It took the tattoo artist less than an hour to do it and then I had it touched up about 6 weeks later to make the red more red and made the blood drip a little more. I'm still deciding what to put on the other upper arm.

8. In reality, it is a very simple and straightforward tattoo--nothing intricate.

It was my first tattoo and it was relative painless, more uncomfortable than anything. When I had it touched up 6 weeks later it did sting because the site was a lot more sensitive.

I had actually been thinking of something from Tolkien and Lord of the Rings for my first tattoo, but I couldn't make up my mind as to what to do. I still may get one for my second tattoo, but I am also considering strongly the logo from the movie "Serenity" which is kind of like a red-orange ball with the Chinese symbols for serenity over it. It's nice that you can bring in any picture and they can make a tat of it.

9. My first (and only) tattoo is the chinese symbol for "chaos" - tramp stamp :) I want the Jupiter

symbol on my left arm, though now I think I must have your tattoo as well as it is such a great symbol.

10. The "V for Vendetta" V is reminiscent of the Anarchist "A".

One of the difficulties with Chinese symbols is that you must trust that they mean what you are told they mean. I mean, I would hate to have a Chinese character tattoo of what I believe says "serenity" only to find it mean "horseshit". Now that's a bummer.

I do love the "Firefly" series as well as the movie "Serenity" that came after it.
