MTP: Arnold breakfasts with the stars. Barack Obama, perhaps? |
|
Asked about how Arnold Schwarzenegger gets along with Maria Shriver given their political differences, Arnold relates this story:
Paraphrased:
Maria has the habit of bringing out cutouts of whichever candidates she feels strongly about and these will be kept out for some period of time, presumably in their home. I have to believe that one of these cutouts is of Barack Obama.
Arnold said that he has to live with these characters, including having breakfast with them standing there in the room.
It paints a really funny, but warm, picture of them and especially of him.
Imagine Arnold Swartzenegger sitting with his cereal, a full size cutout of Barack Obama standing over him as if saying,
"Yes You Can!"
That's Cahlifornia!

1. I have to say, Arnold has been making many decisions I agree with |
|
I really don't even see what republican like policies he has pushed. Not saying he is an "angel," but it seems he has California's best interests at heart.

2. It was only after his propositions lost big time that he moved in a different direction |
|
You are correct, some of the decisions he has been making are OK, but when the SOB openingly endorses mccain, who will NOT provide ANY relief to those 50 million who are uninsured, but also continue this endless war which not only has killed almost a million people, but drains needed resources from the states, it makes me wonder about Arnold

3. He "supports" McCain because he's a Republican. |
|
But, if you watched MTP you'll see that he's pretty open about how he feels about Bush's policies.
Also, he's on the right side of quite a number of environmental issues.
He's been good for our state, the best since Jerry Brown, IMO.

4. I didn't see MTP, but if he is so against bush's policy he wouldn't endorse mccain |
|
he could just remain on the side lines
That is no courage in my opinion, and for that reason alone he should NOT be trusted
Hagel who is to right for my taste is a perfect example of someone who at least has the courage of his convictions, and will NOT endorse mccain even though he is a republican
