Joe Lieberman is a delusional pompous ass
I cannot believe this ... 8 years ago, he was running with Al Gore. Today, he's supporting McCain. He's talking like he wants to set of WWIII. This man is nuts!

I've never liked Lieberman, but it's deeply disappointing to see how far right he's moved. I'm looking forward to a good slap-down from Wes Clark, who should be on a bit later on the show.

1. He's a delusional, pompous ass on a good day. On most days, he's
a traitorous hack who can't cut it as a moderate Democrat and so turns hyperflirt for the Pukes.

Bush has had few more loyal stooges in the Senate than Joe Lieberman these last 8 years.

2. These days, he's a desperate pompous ass
He knows that if Obama wins, with the Senatorial majority we'll have, his
relevance is zero. We'll still get a Senate majority even if McCain wins, so
he either gets a cabinet post from McCain or fades into nothingness. He doesn't
want to fade, so he's looking out for himself. The faulty part of that attitude
is that he was elected to look out for the people of Connecticut, but like McCain,
his memory is starting to have some serious lapses.

3. And to think that in 2004, he was the one accusing
Wes Clark of not being a real Democrat.

He kept picking on him at the debates.

What an ass.

4. I couldn't believe him on Face the Nation
Painting a Fox News version of the world where Iraq is a happy place and John McCain is this magic man that fixes all the problems in the world.
