Edited on Sun Jun-29-08 05:42 PM by Labors of Hercules
Give a loud shout out to those Democrats who could easily have been Republicans, but THANK GOD THEY'RE DEMOCRATS!!

Here's my favorites:

Wes Clark :woohoo:
Ron Reagan :applause:

5. Arianna. Glad she's on our side now.
Any time she wants to chuck it all and run off with me to northern Michigan, I'm there.

12. I like Al. He's good enough, smart enough, and doggone it, people like him. But he's no Arianna.
I'm terribly sorry, but I won't run off with him to northern Michigan. Still have that offer open to Arianna, however.

28. He's the most dependable attack dog against Republicans out there
Countdown has been a refuge for many people during the Dumbya administration. Pissed off about the latest thing the Republicans did? Olbermann is there to toss some more fuel to the fire. You can always count on Olbermann to take the Republicans to task. Sure, it's clear that he has a bias against them, but at least he's straight up about where he stands politically instead of pretending to be an independent like O'Reilly.

Post as often as you like, Krist1696. Always good stuff. This time, perhaps bizarre, but what the hell. . . .

I think the edit fucked me up. When I posted "Carl Levin" upthread, I thought we were just celebrating our favorite Democrats, not Democrats that could have been Republicans.

After that "big night" she had with Dan Quayle in the Indianapolis Holiday Inn in 1989, she has never been the same.
