Crazy 2AM thought about Ol' Bob Barr
Is he drumming up the support of the right-wing base just to join the McCain ticket in August?

3. I don't think so
I heard him say McCain's bus should be called the "Double-Talk Express."

4. A "Double Talk Express" should be parked in the center of the convention floor this year.

5. Oh hell no! He is royally pissed at the Bush machine. He is on a mission from God to cleanse the GOP
of the NeoCon filth.

6. Looking at McCain's history
Is he a NeoCon?

He seems more traditional than Bush, etc.

7. Intersting theory, but...
I don't think he's intentionally trying to angle onto the VP spot, but I would expect the McCain team to attempt to co-opt him onto it anyway. His run could siphon off just enough votes to throw the election to Obama.

9. Agree... Barr has moved away from the neocons for many years
He has tremendous issues with what they did to our civil liberties, becoming a true ally of ACLU. Does this sound like a likely VP candidate for McShame? Hardly...

He's a libertarian, with all the negatives that live there as well.... Would dismantle public schooling and much of the socially beneficial "commons." He's also a social conservative. But, with respect to civil liberties, he's on our side.

11. it's bizarre to be rooting for Bob Barr after his role as Clinton era Blowj-b Inquisitor
...but I am! I am loving that he is peeling disaffected GOPers fromm voting for McSleepy.
