Straight from Barack Obama's factcheck:

http://factcheck.barackobama.com/factcheck/2008/06/10/mccain_tax.php

Less than 2 Percent of Small Businesses Would be Affected by Rolling Back the Bush Tax Cuts on the Wealthy: According to the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center, less than 2 percent of individual tax filers who report small business income fall into the top two marginal tax rates. (Tax Policy Center, 4/27/07)

(Actually, the exact percentage for those paying the top tax rate of 35% is only 1.4%.)

Barack Obama is the Only Candidate to Propose Cutting the Capital Gains Tax Rate to Zero for Start Ups and Small Businesses: Barack Obama has stated, “As we make these changes, we'll be sure to encourage growth and innovation. So we'll exempt start-up companies and small businesses from capital gains to give them an added boost. Because when more Americans tap that well of opportunity, all of us are better off.” John McCain’s economic proposal lacks such a provision.

3. McCain, inappropriately laughing, on MSNBC, "If you like paying more taxes, I'm not your man."

The Dems need to call bullsh*t on Republicans' economics. Have even the most uninformed voters learned that Republicans' 'trickle down' economy of 8 years was a cruel joke. The middle class got shafted and the rich got richer. It's what happens when Republicans, lap dogs for big money, are in charge in Washington.

2. also, given the cost of buying insurance for their employees...
getting taxed may actually be LESS than the cost of that healthcare insurance.

5. I think a better economy under a Dem president would outweigh any tax differences
Wouldn't it be nice to actually have some income and profit to pay taxes on? Right now taxes should be about the bottom of anybody's concern.
