Besides the usual bullshit from his speeches, I am trying to detect any evidence of his work with a speech coach (I know that most politicians have them, but McCain is obviously in particular need). Is it possible that he sounds even worse today? He seems to be making an extra effort to sound "concise and agressive", but sounds especially screechy...no volume control, like Pat Buchanan.

1. Telling bold face lies. And his joke was very lame
They must have told the audience to laugh because the reaction was delayed.

I wish I saw the audience reaction to it :).

7. that was bad
were I advising him, I'd tell him just be serious. Quit telling jokes. Quite frankly, he'd be a more effective speaker if he played it straight 100 percent of the time with no attempts at humor.

And that's weird, because he clearly does have a sense of humor.

2. ha, MSNBC already cut away to "commentary" by Chicago tribune writer
But they are still showing the "image" of his talking in the split screen. Guess it was a bit painful for them too.

4. His new handlers have told him...
that his voice is too low and there is no passion in his speeches. That he needs to talk a little louder with a little more "enthusiasm" in his words. So, he talks louder... :-)

9. You don't seem louder than ususal.
But McCain is very talented at turning his upper torso to the left and the right. It makes him more personable.

11. I still can't believe anyone will vote for this goober!
He can barely stumble through his own speeches. He doesn't know half of what he's saying. This guy couldn't balance a checkbook, has no concept of personal or business budgeting, and is literally clueless about economics.

13. That's undoubtedly true. He's never had to wonder "where's my money coming from?"
She's paid for everything. She probably lets him keep his paycheck for pocket money.
