Jim Doyle for VP.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Doyle#Governor

James Edward (Jim) Doyle (born November 23, 1945) is a Wisconsin politician and member of the Democratic Party. He took office in January 2003 as the 44th Governor of Wisconsin. He defeated incumbent Governor Scott McCallum by a margin of 45% to 41%, a plurality reduced by the relative success of a third party candidate, Ed Thompson, the Libertarian candidate and former Governor Tommy Thompson's younger brother. Although in 2002 Democrats increased their number of governorships, Doyle was the only one of them to unseat a sitting Governor.

3. How about a person whose name we've heard before?
That would help.

5. No
Bland, mediocre governor (I live in Wisconsin), slightly tainted by questionable favors to campaign donors, i.e. a rather suspect Kenosha tribal casino deal. Looks like Tony Soprano. He only won reelection because rival Mark Green was a complete tool. Not sure Doyle would pass vetting. The only thing he brings to the table is that he was a very early supporter of Obama.

And the fucker jacked up cigarette taxes by over a buck a pack!

Besides, Obama can win Wisconsin without him.

9. I'm from Wisconsin and he would add nothing to the ticket
he's not been a terribly inspiring governor and he is BORRRRRRING! He's like Adlai Stevenson without the charisma. If we were to go with a Wisconsinite it may as well be Feingold.
