Dems & Obama mess up big time!
I made a thread a couple of months ago that with all the flip flopping McCain has done that they should be jumping all over this. Running Ads calling McCain a " Flip Flopper" all the talking heads keep saying this. Obama actually call McCain a Flip Flopper.

But No they all sit on their hands. Bring it up here and there in conversation. But nothing major.

Now we spent the last 5 days hearing how Obama is a "Flip Flopper" by the MSM and all the talking heads. McCain saying Obama words cant be trusted. McCain has just won this fight of flip flopping. It was important for the Dems and Obama to paint this picture of McCain FIRST!

It doesn't matter if its true. I don't even want to talk about what is true. It doesn't matter. People wont take the time to find out the truth. Its a matter of getting off first.

But No the Dems cant work together to attack McCain. Obama is too nice to blast McCain and call him out.

This Flip Flop charge is a bad one and one of the biggest things that hurt Kerry. Nobody trusted his word.

Now here we sit and you will start to see that people trust Obama's word less now with all this Flip Flop talk.

Great just fucking great. Another opportunity wasted.

16. Candidates don't negotiate the debates.

The debates are established by a non partisan presidential commission that sets the dates.

The campaigns are free to agree to change but the schedule and format is settled before either candidate is nominated.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commission_on_Presidential_Debates

Although the eventual nominees of the Republican and Democratic parties and any permitted third-party candidates must agree to the final schedule and formats, the following is the schedule announced by the CPD on November 19th.<1>

Three presidential debates:

Friday, September 26, 2008 at the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi<2>. This debate will focus on domestic issues.
Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee<3>. This debate will have a town-hall meeting format.
Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York<4>. This debate will focus on foreign affairs.
One vice-presidential debate:

Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Washington University in St. Louis in St. Louis, Missouri<5>. Any and all issues will be fair game at this debate

10. I've been putting up drywall.
Nothing like a little physical activity to bring us back to reality, especially those of us who spend days-on-end in front of a computer monitor. :D

5. Last night on CNN they were going to commercial, but left with a teaser.
The announcer was commenting that both candidates had flip flopped - story coming up. The tag line at the bottom read "Candidates flip flop on issues", but the only photo on the screen was Obama - no photo of McCain.

And yes - that's exactly who I meant. You know, the former Bonesman who remained silent while Repiglicans smeared him from here until Tuesday, then, armed with and "army of THOUSANDS of lawyers," stayed silent while the Repiglicans stole Ohio and Florida in 2004.

That guy - you know - "Lurch."

9. The M$M would do exactly the same to Hillary as it is to Obama.
THe M$M has only one goal. That is to retain as many Republicans in power as it can. Now Obama is the presumptive Dem nominee it is attacking him. If it had been Hillary the M$M would be doing exactly the same thing. To get the "Flip Flop" label on McCain Dems would need the cooperation of the M$M. Dems will never get it. The moment the Republicans called Obama a flip flopper the M$M immediately took up the chorus. And we have heard nothing else since. It is what we have to live with till the M$M is removed from corporate control. If that ever happens.

14. Dems haven't got the frame game down yet and don't work with MsM execs the way the GOP does so it's
...hard to get in a meme.

By now the DNC should know the GOP is going to lie their ass's off, next week they'll have McSame being an astronaut and no one will challenge him on it.

15. Have you contacted the Obama campaign? If not, you should.
You should also contact the DNC. They messed up with John Kerry in 2004 as well, running horrible ads rather than ads that show Dumbya flip-flopping on the hunt for Osama bin Laden and on other things, including lying about WMDs.
