McCains easy solution to the budget deficits- just win the wars |
|
in Iraq and Afghanistan. It couldn't be easier and then he can use that money to balance the budget. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0708/11553.html

1. Maybe he'll put up more "Mission Accomplished" banners... |
|
and declare victory so he can be a hero president.

so it can't ensure safe imports or food or bridges and is unable to respond to natural disaster like Katrina.

3. If those wars were easy to "win" they would have won them long ago. |

Those governments are entirely propped up by the US. Unless we are willing to let those places go to go their own way, it's never going to change.

5. winning the wars does not equal any extra money |
|
Even if McCain could miraculously win these wars, he would gain no new funds to balance the budget. It would simply preclude any additional deficit spending. How could anybody believe this pap McCain is putting out? I'm starting to think he's really dumber than Bush, or thinks we the public are.
