Why doesn't anyone want to run with Obama?
Why can't Obama find someone willing to be his VP running mate?

I think that talking point will be out by the end of the week.

5. Not every ambitious politician WANTS to be a Vice-President...
especially when you're likely to be overshadowed in the White House by a President Obama. Better to make a name for yourself in the House, Senate, Governor's Mansion etc.

As for the Republicans, they may assume that McCain is going to lose, but being on the ticket will give them an edge in 2012.

Webb? Warner? first of all Warner hasn't even been elected yet. Secondly the life of a US Senator is a goooooooooood one. Who would want to give that up?

8. Get Wes Clark
find a way to make lemonade from his remark that was taken out of context.

Except for being height challenged next to Obama, he is the ideal running mate.

and just want a little press.

20. He has already made the selection.
Is everyone deluded?

Do you all believe that because no announcement has been made that nobody is willing to be VP, that no selection has been made?

Is everyone gullible that they believe that cable news, the NYT, HuffPost, and Kos are authentic and reliable sources of information.

What, do you think Obama is stoooopid?

You think he's out of VP possibilities and ideas?

He's a f'n genius, he's strategic, he's like a sniper, you won't know until it hits you.

(I'm not addressing the OP or all DUers specifically)

26. I think some are FORCED to deny it because media casts a shadow on every attack made against McCain
or Bush that gets in the news as a mere ploy to get the VP slot, diminishing the integrity and blunting the force of the remarks.

Kerry wants to be able to attack McCain's policies for Obama WITHOUT the political drama the media wants to promote instead of covering the substance of the criticisms.

29. He probably has a ton of stamina and can run for quite a while.
It would make sense that he'd have problems finding someone to run with him.

Oh, that's not what you meant?
