Chicago people! Got a question for ya. |
|
We're told that Obama HQ in Chicago is at 233 N. Michigan Ave.
Can folks visiting the city buy bumperstickers and buttons etc. there?
Or is it a closed-office, strategy-only type of deal?
Thanks in advance for any info...

1. I can say with almost absolute certainty that anyone is welcome into the office |

I haven't been there myself but I've never seen a closed campaign headquarters. The idea of even having an HQ is really for visibility and to attract volunteers. Otherwise they could just do the strategy out of someone's house and save a whole lot of money.

2. Well, ok, I was hoping for that, but didn't know. |
|
If we walked in willing to make a donation and buy a couple buttons and bumperstickers, I'm hoping they'd let us in.
When I read of the campaign's moving to Chicago, I realized it made good sense for Obama to do that, but it never occurred to me to ask if people could buy campaign stuff there.
Thanks, Hippo_Tron.
