2. Doesn't really matter what she does or doesn't do. She's just a Senator now.

30. She's more then just another senator to me. And a lot of other people. She is my leader and I
respect her voice and her values.

16. Hillary no longer matters. She's just a Senator, same as Kerry, Biden, Dodd, Cantwell, etc.

That much is obvious. Either she votes the correct way and gets shit on or she votes the wrong way and we get shit on. Understood.

19. Maybe, but it was still the right vote
I agree with you that she did the right thing for the wrong reasons but she still did the right thing. I am not going to criticize her for voting the right way even though part of me wants to, because I agree with everything her detractors are saying about why she did it. But the bottom line is, she cast the right vote and deserves some props for that. And Obama brought this on himself by voting the wrong way. I am still just as enthusiastic about his candidacy as I was before but I am not going to attack Clinton or anyone else for voting the right way on a bill.

23. But We Do Know How Hillary and Obama Voted On BK Reform
Hillary ultimately avoided voting on the final version of the bill, and now claims she opposed it, but it was virtually identical to original version she supported.

Why no similar sensitivity for the pressures on Clinton in 2003?

27. I doubt it
She's spoken out against retroactive immunity since the beginning. And Clinton's national security/hawk creds are sufficiently strong that it'd be harder to Swiftboat her as soft on terror.

Sometimes we should just admit we have no idea of how things would turn out, because we don\'t have a crystal ball.
