When will McCain get the same treatment from the media as Obama?
Obama is getting beaten up in the media for one thing or another. McCain has a 30 year voting record that needs to be examined. McCain has flip flopped on numerous issues that needs to be exposed. Anyone who thinks the media is on Obama's side is high.

2. yeah, it's never going to happen.
I'm trying to quit my Morning Joe habbit, but I tivo it in case I miss anything that is talked about here, haha. I turned on my tv this morning and still had MSNBC on from Dan Abrams last night. Morning Joe was using a clip where John McCain absolutely balks and studders when asked about his voting record on birth control, and the crew was giggling and saying "oh, he was being honest!"....it was used for the dumb News You Can't Use segment! I rewound to see what they said about Jesse Jackson out of curiosity, and I landed on the part where they are talking about Obama regretting the interview with his daughters. Jonathan Capehart was whining that Obama just "can't see a good thing when it looks him in the face, and that he just should have not granted anymore interviews for the daughters, BUT NOT TOLD ANYONE! (um, it was a direct question from Matt Lauer. If this had been McCain, it would have been "aww, more straight talk!). And Joe Scarborough said that Obama's "flip" on this (notice his terminology) shows that he is a rookie, it was a "real rookie mistake". And then Pat actually disagreed and said that he probably wondered if his daughters were being exploited, and that it showed "A real human moment for Obama". Joe Scarborough scowled.

3. When he replaces that R next to his name with a D.
Until then, count on the press softballing McCain as often as possible.

4. oh good heavens
there is negative cover of mccain daily. Just this morning on MSNBC they covered the 8 second delay of his response to viagra vs birth control - there was plenty of laughter over his (lack of) response. I have also heard plenty of coverage of his flip-flops.

Lets not allow the "victim" thing to take over. Lets be realistic adults here.

5. yeah, they were "laughing". If it had been Obama, they would have been "concerned".

Most of the negatives that McCain could have (his non-PC jokes), they turn into a positive "This is why people love McCain!"

I complain about the media all of the time in a really self indulgent and annoying way (I'll cop to the victim thing, heh), but most of the "negative" attention for McCain honestly isn't very negative.

The AP pet poll will get more attention than McCain's pathetic response to that birth control question...and it was in the News You Can't Use segment- I rest my case.

6. it did get coverage - regardless of the segment.
And there was laughter - which can be EVERY bit as damaging as serious "concern". His confusion over the issue was clearly pointed out.

The pictures of mccain tend to be negative and unflattering - ala hillary. The MSM coverage of respoonses and speeches clearly shows he has a verbal deficit.

I just do not see this media bias that is being claimed.
