2. PA and NH are more solid for Obama than Missouri is for McCain.

3. And so is MI and probably OH and WI. Clearly, the Prof offers a best case scenario for McLame.

4. This is a good map assuming a 50-50 popular vote
If Obama wins by 5 % in the popular vote, he'll win all Sabato's toss-ups and some of McCain's leaners too.

5. DON'T let up our efforts or our guard!
This will be the most important election in the life of anyone here. Perhaps at ANY time in our Nation's history! If we drop it this year, there will be NO Second Chance for a very long time. And that PNAC/BFEE gang will not be facing just getting thrown out of office, some may be thrown into jail. DESPERATION?

Each and every one of those pale-blue or yellow states are close enough to steal. Consider muffling whatever FISA grumblings you may have, until AFTER the election!

6. Putting Hillary on the ticket greatly improves CO and NV for Obama
because she will get out the Hispanic vote in these states.

7. Obama has 30-pts on McSame with Hispanics.
Putting her on the ticket actually hurts him in most cases.

13. That's 30-pt lead with those likely to vote now
That's like saying it's OK because only 100 Hispanics will turn out in each state. 65 will vote for Obama, 35 will vote for McCain. Your answer neglects how many millions will stay home if Hillary's not on the ticket.

14. Obama will not pressured by "millions" of HRC voters who demand she be on the ticket.
But thanks for reiterating the threat. As to the "millions," (as in folklore, that number seems to be growing with each retelling), considering many of her Reagan Democrat supporters are racist and won't vote for a black man regardless plus taking into account the hundreds of thousands of Operation Chaos votes she received, he'll be fine with half her voters. Ya know, the sane half who can see the forest for the trees.

Obama wants to win, at least I hope he does.

18. Obama won the nomination and it's time folks pull up their socks and deal with it.
Close only counts in hand grenades and horse shoes, but I marvel at your lack of shame in invoking that spectacularly narcissistic, blustery threat. And here we thought the Clinton Kabuki Theater had closed for the season. Gawd, I hope somebody's got some popcorn.

21. Obama will win in November and I'm betting on that with my money, time, and sweat.
You? Not so much. However, if you are anxious to throw some money around, how about paying off her massive, foolishly accrued campaign debt? That would be doing something constructive in the general election by taking that burden off the rest of the party.

8. sabato's analysis leans fairly conservative, which recently has matched the gop election frauds
so if he's got obama ahead, that means obama is really up enough so that they can't even steal it.
assuming, of course, obama stays this far ahead.

9. OBAMA!! FISA!!! BLAAARRRGGHHH!!11!
Anyway, Wisconsin isn't really a swing state. Obama has huge leads there, bigger than Mccain's in Missouri and Florida. It's really more of a Likely Obama state.

Which is why this map is overly conservative.

I can't understand what the fuck is wrong with this country. We truly have become one of the most back-assed, retarded nations on the planet.

20. Agreed!
If Obama stays a strong candidate and continues to stand for his principles, then he'll not even come close to losing Wisconsin. Kerry and Gore only came so close (but won) because they turned a bit soft at the ends of their campaigns and let the opposition control their race.

17. More states are in play
for Obama. Indiana is competitive and I think Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are not toss-ups.
